Taylor Swift praised for her performance on “Late Late Show with James Corden”

Swifties are worked up over who they think Taylor is shading on ‘Midnights’

Taylor Swift is being praised across social media for her performance opposite James Corden on tonight’s season finale of “Late Late Show with James Corden.”

The “Shake It Off” singer, who was initially rumored to take out Corden’s “I Don’t Live Here No Longer” from her iTunes release party in New York City because of her feud with Taylor Swift, responded on Twitter Friday in support of Corden.

“I’m so proud to be making television with @jamescorden,” she said. “Tonight’s #latelateshowwithjamescorden is a very special night for me. I’m so honored, and so very grateful.”

“Late Late Show” host James Corden spoke to Swift about her performance in an interview with the “Today” show Saturday.

“They were trying to get me to say, ‘I don’t understand how you’re going to sing ‘I Don’t Live Here No Longer,’” Swift said in her interview. “And I’m a little confused. I thought when I told him that I wasn’t gonna do that, he seemed really happy.”

“You know he’s good!” Taylor added. “James Corden is a good man. He’s a nice man. He’s a sweet man.”

Taylor’s father, Taylor Swift Sr., has also praised James Corden for choosing to have his interview with Swift.
